Nolan Students can enter two Tennessee PTA Student Contests!
1. Nolan Elementary students can enter the Tennessee PTA Citizenship Essay Contest. All students K-4 can participate. The 5th graders are already doing it as a class assignment. The theme this year is "I am a good citizen because..." All entries must be in the Nolan PTA mailbox by Monday, January 23rd.
2. Nolan students can also enter the Tennessee PTA Safety Poster contest. All students K-5 can participate. The theme this year is "Playing it safe in the car."
Go to www.tnpta.org for the guidelines and student entry forms. Go to "Communications and Student Programs". There you will find a link for both the Citizenship Essay contest and the Safety Poster contest. The username is diversity and the password is means.

All SAFETY POSTER entries must to be turned in to Nolan no later than Friday, February 3. We will have a table set up in the school lobby on Fri. Feb 3rd. Winning entries at Nolan will be forwarded on to the Hamilton County competition. Winning entries from Hamilton County will be forwarded on to the Tennessee competition.
